K-8 Program

At Haywood Haven, education is a partnership.
We walk beside parents to provide a Christ-centered, mastery-based learning experience that supports both academic excellence and spiritual growth.

Our classrooms are small and relational, allowing teachers to know, see, and love each student as they grow in confidence and purpose.

High School

Our high school classes are part of The Navigator Project, a Monday program designed to equip teens with both practical skills—such as website design, graphic design, and financial literacy—and personal development skills, including personality awareness, time management, communication, and leadership. Through hands-on learning and biblically grounded guidance, we continue supporting students as they seek God’s purpose for their lives and learn how to live it out with confidence, competence, and intention.

Excellent Academics. Faithful Foundations. Joyful Learning.

We believe learning should be both challenging and joyful, balancing rigorous academics with hands-on exploration, meaningful play, and faith-filled connection.
Each day reflects our mission: to help children discern God’s purpose for their lives and equip them for living it well.

Students learn within three intentional groupings:

  • Community groups that build belonging through worship, prayer, and shared meals;
  • Peer groups that foster teamwork and discussion in subjects like science, history, and book club.
  • Skill-based groups that ensure mastery in foundational subjects such as math and language arts.

This thoughtful structure gives every child the chance to be known, challenged, and supported—academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Flexible Weekly Schedule

We know every family’s rhythm is unique. Our flexible, à la carte model lets parents build a schedule that fits their needs.

  • Tuesday & Wednesday: Core instruction (required)
  • Thursday: Optional enrichment and extended learning
  • Flexible à la carte registration: Choose full days or individual classes

If a student attends only two days, parents complete Thursday’s lessons at home with teacher support and weekly guidance.

Daily Schedule

Our days are intentionally structured to balance academic focus with movement, play, and connection. Children enjoy over two hours of movement and outdoor play daily, allowing their minds and bodies to reset and thrive.
