Kindergarten Prep

We believe that a love for learning, a sense of belonging, and an understanding of God’s principles begin in the earliest years.

Our preschool program provides a safe, joyful environment where three- and four-year-olds grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically in a Christ-centered setting. Through purposeful play, movement, hands-on exploration, and Biblical principles, we lay the foundation for lifelong learning and faith.

We do not rush children or hold them to rigid academic benchmarks. The most important things we can give a three- or four-year-old are a sense of belonging, a joyful experience of learning, and an early understanding that God made them and loves them.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

Our Values: H.O.P.E.

Honor

We treat every child, family, and colleague with dignity, respect, and love. Every child who walks through our door is known by name and treasured as God’s own handiwork.

Ownership

We take responsibility for creating a safe, nurturing, and well-prepared learning environment every single day. Parents and staff share this ownership together.

Purpose

We believe God created every child on purpose and for a purpose. We look for that purpose in each child from their earliest years and build on it every day.

Equipping

We give children the tools they need to thrive — not just academically, but spiritually, socially, and emotionally — so they are ready for everything that comes next.

Play, Exploration, and Faith. Every Single Day.

How to Enroll

A Partnership That Begins Before Day One

Haywood Haven Preschool is not a drop-off childcare service. It is an educational ministry that partners with parents in the early formation of their child. Enrollment is a deliberate process because we want every family to begin with confidence that this is the right fit.

Readiness requirements: Children must be fully potty-trained and able to separate from parents and participate in the group without extended distress before the first day. All new students begin with a one-month probationary period starting August 11, 2026.

Is This the Right Fit?

Families Who Thrive Here

Our preschool is not the right fit for every family or every child at every stage of development, and we say that with genuine warmth and respect. The families who thrive here share certain convictions and commitments.

“God has created every child on purpose and for a purpose.”

Designed for Growth, Rooted in Purpose

We See Every Child. We Cheer for Every Child.

The preschool years are precious, and we do not take lightly the trust you place in us. We seek to know your child, be patient with them on hard days, and celebrate with them on great ones. We will tell them the truth about who God says they are from the very beginning.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” — Ephesians 2:10
